I bought this ipod as my previous ipod nano had broken. I decided to get the higher gb version as now movies and tv programs can be stored. The overall finish of the ipod is very good, the larger screen makes it feel more in proportion and the sides seem smoother. The colours are also very attractive, i eventually opted for the orange.
The ipod ran the same way as my old one, I plugged it in and itunes popped up and registered my ipod for me. I think this is one of the major advantages of buying an ipod, as there is no need to mess about trying to install discs and drivers. Speed of transfer also seems to be about the same as my previous ipod.
The video camera appears to be of reasonable quality and can store many videos. One problem with the camera though is that it was quite hard at first to discover how to delete unwanted videos. Also, another problem with the nano having a camera is that the screen is perhaps a bit too small, as when watching a tv programme or video for a while my eyes began to hurt.
So, overall the ipod is much better in design than previous ones, but perhaps could do with more features and a bigger screen as it now has camera and video facilities.
