Advantages: Great features and looks lovely
Disadvantages: Expensive and the battery life is rubbish
I really like the new look for the ipod nano, it's lightweight, slimline, elegant and a really nice size. I spend a lot of time on the move, and it's a really nice way to pass the time - sound quality is fantastic, although it seems to vary based on the headphones you're using. The screen is also very good, the display is sharp and bright. It is big enough to watch short video clips but I think I'd end up with a headache trying to watch a film on it.
It's crammed with new features such as a video camera, although the lens is in a really awkward position and fingers almost always appear in your film. The games also are great if you want to pass some time but they're nothing super special and innovative. The genius feature really is genius, it sorts your music to find the most suitable song to play after the one you've just listened to and it works surprisingly well.
Battery life isn't great, but this seems to be different from one to the next, mine lasts about 15-18 hours of play-time whereas my friend has one that goes 24-30 hours. With 16GB of storage I could almost fit in it myself - little chance of my ever running out of room! It does take a looooong time to upload music to it though.
I'm not a fan of apple computers, but the iPod is a fantastic MP3 player and highly recommended.
Summary: Very good MP3 player but you really pay for the quality
