Apple iPod nano (5G) 8 GBTilt or turn iPod nano on its side, and you'll listen, watch, and play in new ways. You can flip through your album art with cover flow. Or, vertically speaking, see more albums and artists on the screen at one time. Pull hundreds of photos from your pocket and share them wherever you go. Hold iPod nano upright and see your photos in portrait view. Turn it on its side to see them in landscape. Your photos look beautiful in their proper aspect ratio on the vibrant, 320-by-240-resolution display. It's even easier to find the song you want to hear. Now you can view your album art in cover flow. Or just press and hold the center button to browse by album or artist. When you find the right song, press the center button to add it to your on-the-go playlist. Sometimes, people could all use a little unpredictability. And now you can shake to shuffle your music. Just give iPod nano a shake and it shuffles to a different song in your music library. You'll always be surprised by what you'll hear. Watching movies, TV shows, and videos is big fun on iPod nano. And the high-resolution picture looks crisp and vivid on the 2-inch widescreen display. So you can always have a little video with you. Recently I gave into all the hype about iPod's and decided to buy one, mainly because my phone's media player had a few problems and so instead I decided to buy a dedicated mp3 player. Since I wasn't really intending to watch videos on it, except a few film trailers but nothing bigger - I only bought the 8GB version, which I suspect is plenty of room for the music collection of the vast majority of people. If using it without headphones, for say around the house then you will need speakers to put it into as the in-built speaker is very quiet even at full volume with no headphones. My first impressions were very good. They fit easily into ... Read the complete review

I have had so many iPods over the years that I have lost count. However, with the iPod Nano I never really enjoyed it. This was mainly due to it being really aimed at those who exercise or maybe the younger audience. With this latest version I decided to give it another try. The design is so so slim and this latest 5th generation has a really shiny glossy finish, instead of the matte finish on the 4th gen. The screen has also gone up in size a little. 2.2-inches instead of the previous 2-inches. At first glance it looks kinda weird, almost like the screen is too big for the front of this tiny device. I want to cover the biggest change first. Take a ... Read the complete review

Before getting the new ipod nano the only mp3 player I had before was the ipod shuffle. I never used to be a big music listener but I have found that I now listen to it more. It started to become very annoying not having a screen and so not being able to choose a song. I chose the new ipod nano because of it's good screen size, I wanted to be able to watch videos on it. Also, I didn't want to get anything with too big a capacity like the ipod touch because i knew I would never fill it. I have to say I am very happy with my choice. It has a good size screen and a good capacity whilst not being too big. The battery lasts for 24 hours when playing music and 5 ... Read the complete review

The Ipod nanoc 8gb, is the latest version of the nano family, and is the best yet! Apple own over 50% of the mp3 player market, and this is no coicidence. The ipod nano is a great mp3 player and does everything you could want it to do and more. I am not a massive fan of appler, so it took a leap of faith for me to buy this ipod but I am so glad i did. I have found that apple usually make it very difficult to use their products with anything else but apple mac's, and sometimes I find this is the case with my ipod, but I am still glad I bought the Nano Advantages: * Style - it looks good which every way you look at it. The curved screen looks ... Read the complete review

The same iPod nano but more vibrant with a bigger screen, live radio which you can pause for upto 15minutes! and a bigger screen to view your music and other media- all this plus a built in video camera! How cool is that! There are also other new features so it doesn't end there! The battery life is quite pleasing. I've played two hours of video and haven't used half the battery. The first few days the battery life was a bit short but it seems to have seasoned and improved. I find this same behavior to be true of other lithium batteries. I do absolutely love the color. It's feather-light, as well. I was surprised at how light it was, actually. The new shape ... Read the complete review
