This is my review of the newest Nano in the iPod family. An MP3 player that is so classic, it is on its 6th incarnation. This review is written as a basic guide for people who need information as to whether to go with this version (and pay the premium) or purchase the 5th generation for a gift with Christmas coming up. Technical specifications baffle me totally, and with this in mind, I write a review to guide a prospective purchaser who just wants to know what it is and does. The newest member of the iPod family is small, sleek and very discrete, if you should wish it to be - change the glaringly obvious headphones (the white is a blatant ... Read the complete review

~PANIC STATIONS!~ When my beloved and trusty ipod nano 2G succumbed to the dreaded WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH just a week before a holiday last year, I knew I would have to replace it as a matter of urgency - I never take a holiday without my ipod, and I use it all the time in my car too. Fortunately I'd built up a useful quantity of Tesco points, and money being tight due to the hol I knew that buying it from Tesco with £60 off was the only way I'd be getting one. ~FIRST IMPRESSIONS~ When I got to the display and saw the latest Nano 8gb (full price at the time £104) I was really taken aback. I use my ipod all the time, as I said, but in no ... Read the complete review

I bought this iPod used for £60 at CeX as my old iPod had broke. Brand new, they cost £115, so I thought this was a very good deal. I was a wondering whether to buy this one or the bigger iPod Touch, but I think I made the right choice. - iPod Nano vs iPod Touch - The main downside to the iPod nano is that you can't download apps. Then again, it would be hard to play them on the small screen. Considering its size, it is very easy to navigate round. It functions like a normal iPod Touch or iPhone except you slide your finger to the right on the screen to go back. The screen quality is also very good and the sound quality with headphones is great. ... Read the complete review

The Apple iPod nano (6G) is a Portable Music Player that is extremely compact in size and features a 1.54" capacitive screen. I believe that the iPod is too small and fiddly to operate even with small thumbs, in this review I will be explaining my reasons to believe this. The iPod itself: The iPod comes in a very small transparent plastic box. The iPod is made of a brushed metal material that feels very nice in the hand and doesn't slide easily like the iPod touch. There are only 3 buttons: 2 for volume (up and down) and a power/lock button. The screen is a 1.54" glass capacitive much like the rest of Apples touch screen ... Read the complete review

With the recent news that the first generation Nano's had the ability to set themselves on fire I managed to get myself a free upgrade to an 8GB 6th generation Nano and while I do still miss the old one, there are a couple of good updates to the original. Physically there's a huge difference in size. The original had the long slim black casing with the easily scratched silver backing while the new one is barely bigger than the screen but benefits from having the clip on the back which is handy with some of its new features. There are a variety of colours available from the 6th Gen Nano but I was sent the silver which I was happy with and it doesn't scratch as ... Read the complete review
