I wont lie- I didn't want this ipod. My parents offered to get me one for Christmas and I thought it was a bit much to ask for an ipod touch. But as soon as I got it out of the box I fell in love with it. Its simple to use and intuitive- as you would expect from apple, its pretty to look at, and its simple. It has been stripped of features older nanos had such as the camera and video and in many ways acts like a nano/shuffle hybrid.
But it more than makes up for this, especially since the removed features werent that useful anyway. It gives you quick and easy access to your music. Its much easier than before to find podcasts and audiobooks and the navigation is much more visually pleasing than before. Despite the lovely display the battery life is still excellent.
I mostly use it for working out and running and find the Nike+ feature useful for working out, its not incredibly accurate but i use it to record how much i am improving and i love easily being able to sync my runs.
Basically this ipod has not left my side since i got it in December. I fall asleep listening to audiobooks, listen to podcasts while commuting and music while working out. I
f you want a simple reliable mp3 player then this is all you need!
