Having owned an mp3 from when they pretty much first came out i always swore to myself that i would not purchase an apple ipod-purely because i did not want to be the same as everyone else!My last MP£ player was a phillips 20gb model and i have to say that i thought it was great...until i got my hands on the brilliant nano!
Upon first seeing it i couldnt believe its size!its tiny!Not the smallest MP3 player but it is very neat!The, colour and clarity of the screen is fantastic and makes navigating through all the menus an absolute doddle!The menu is simple to use and everything is clear to see. Where the colour screen really shines is when you are viewing pictures!The quality is immense and allows you to carry all your photos around with you so you can show them off when needs be!
Now on to the real use of a MP3 player-the music! uploading songs could not be easier, simply connect to your pc, fire up Itunes and away you go, it cannot get any simpler than that. The sound quality is great and the features match this. Playlists, podcasts, shuffling songs, you name it the nano has it. it makes listening to music on the move an absolute joy, and if you should happen to get bored why not play the built in quiz, which asks you questions about the songs you have uploaded!
the only downside is that i have found it does scratch fairly easy but this can be limited if you also purchase protective cover for it.
i have problems with certain earphones as they do not fit comfortably in my ears but this problem has been removed with the earphones as they fit brilliantly into my earand again the sound is brilliant with them.

If your contemplating purchasing one of these i would say do it!you will not be disappointed, its a great piece of kit.
