My boyfriend bought me this iPod Christmas 2007 and I love it.
Alot of people say theirs freezes up, this has only happened to me once and all I had to do was press middle button and the menu button until it restarted, ever since then it has been fine.
Its nice and small to it fits in your pocket just nicely so it doesn't dig in, so you can walk down the street whilst listening to some of your favorite songs without having to hold it the whole time.
It comes in Silver, Black, Red, Green and Light Blue.

You can put all your favorite songs on this, pictures and videos from your computer, podcasts and extras.
In the extras folder you can set the clock, and even more than one so you can see what time it is some where else in the world, calendars which you can make a to do list from your computer and tell it to beep to remind you, contacts, alarms - it does still go off even if your iPod is switched off you can make it play your own music, then you have some built in games to play on the go, notes, screen lock and a stop watch for the sporty type.
Its 8GB, so you can have 1000 songs, 4 hours of video and 3500 pictures.
I have put a few videos on this and since the screen is small it sort of goes a little blurry, but not too much that you can't see the video.

You move around the wheel (the circle) to adjust the sound and move up and down the menu or artists.
Even if your sound is down at the lowest you can still hear it very well as long as you've not made it completely silent.
Sadly the headphones broke quickly, and so did my sisters and most peoples. They cost a lot to get new ones, so if yours break just buy regular earphones they work just as good. They cost at around £11, my sister bought new ones and we figured out if you don't wrap the wire around.
Unlike the new shuffle that you need to use the apple ones, with this ipod you can buy even cheap earphones and they still work.

You charge the battery on your computer or even on the speakers, if on the speakers don't need to be switched on but plugged into the wall.
You can also buy a charger for your ipod like your phone, you just plug it in and theres a usb port at the end so you plug in the cable you would use to connect to your computer. This is useful if your on holiday somewhere and you get all the universal plugs with it as well. This costs £10
You can use your iPod for up to 5 hours of video or up to 24 hours of music on one charge - great for traveling a long distance.

You can buy accessories for the iPod nano like the radio which you just plug in, it's as small as the original shuffle so wont get in your way.
And you can buy a protective cover for your ipod too.
I know that the new shuffle came out now and alot of people will probably buy that but I prefer being able to see and choose what I want to listen to.

Also if you go to a different country your ipod still plugs in and can put music on it - mine was from America and works fine in the UK.
