This ipod is one of the smallest including a screen, It's everything you could possibly need in a ipod but smaller, the 2.5" screen is better than you think for watching videos and has a very bright clear screen just what you expect from the ipod. The ipod is only a few millimetres thick meaning it doesn't add any more bulk to your pocket, The ipod features a click wheel which is touch sensitive, to navigate up and down the menu glide your fingers around the click wheel ( right to go down, left to go up) it also has a centre button for select and play/pause, skip forward/back, by pressing parts of the click wheel.

Most of the user face is split screen ( menu on left, preview on right) the ipod features cover flow as well which lets you flick through your albums. On the bottom of the ipod you will find the hold button, the charging slot and the headphone socket. Unlike the first and second generation of ipod the 3rd has a silver plated back like the classic and itouch.
The sound quality like other ipod's is exceptionally good. This ipod is extremely good for what it costs and comes in a clear topped boxed that smells fresh and minty when opened.

The only down side i have found with this ipod's so far is like that with any other silver backed ipod, that the back scratches EXTREMELY easy but with the range of protectors and cases out there scratching shouldn't be a problem.
