I had never owned an iPod before, I had always been happy with my 1GB Bush mp3 player, however my Dad bought me an iPod for my 21st birthday and I absolutely fell in love.

The design of the iPod nano is sleek; with smooth rounded corners and a steel back. The soft texture and sensitive centre wheel make it feel good in your hands. Not only that but it feels strong, sturdy and resiliant too. Sure mine has a few scratches on the back, but then again it has been dropped a few times. Yet me dropping it has had no impact on the quality given from this at all.

The iPod nano has a small screen which you can view your song choices on, but you can also play games. The iPod comes pre-loaded with three games - a quiz, solitaire and a block breaking game. You can however buy more games on itunes, you can also buy other applications for it which allow you to read books etc. The ipod also comes complete with video viewing capabilities and due to the size of it's memory you can hold a couple of movies as well as your favourite songs, sure the screen is small to watch them on but who cares?

Summary: Hard wearing and resiliant whilst offering a full package of entertainment at the same time!
