Nice little ipod. Although it may be old now, i just got the 3rd gen ipod nano. Overall, i was very pleased and for my low demand needs suits me very well. It only being 8 gb, gives me only half as much space as music i have. So that makes it a little annoying. The design is very imaginative and definitely works as a 3rd gen ipod. The small screen isn't amazing for watching movies but when watching tv shows or cartoons such as family guy and south park (what i use it to watch) then it is very reliable and easy to use. Itunes works well with it and i have never had any problems with it so far. Though i have had friends who have had ipod nanos that have broken for no apparent reason before so be warned. The scroll wheel works as well as any other from past ipods and is non complainable.
