the i-pod shuffle is great but its not as stylish as an i-pod and tends to be so small that you dont really get the one upmanship of owning an apple product which is all important when you are paying so much more than anyone else for exactly the same product.

Battery life is allways lower than quotedm and sony is better in thsi respect. Sound quality is not a patch on the full size i-pod

but its amazingly small and convenient.

Beware the covers you buy for it make it really awkward to use and I dont think they are worth the hassle.

Summary: more great stuff from apple - but there are other players that are as good
