Advantages: Great i-pod

Disadvantages: n/a

The I-pod shuffle is a very small mp3 player with a memory of 1GB. The I-pod shuffle has become one of the must have pieces of equipment for sports men and women. The I-pod can be used to listening to pod casts and foreign language materials.

When you first put the I-pod into your computer you need to install Itunes if you don't already have it, as this is the only software that can be used to work the I-pod. This is a free download if you just want Itunes instead of windows media player. I found that the loading process took a very long time and my computer is very fast, you really know that apple want you to use there programs and buy your songs off Itunes. It takes a few minutes from plugging the I-pod in before you can use it to put songs on as it checks all the files first.

The main reason so many people have the I-pod including myself is that it is small and light which can be clipped onto your shirt, hat or put into a Monster ifreeplay headphones which is what I use whilst in the gym. This keeps the I-pod out of pockets, which are required for hands on a cold day.

The battery is very good you charge it whilst it is in the computer and lasts around 10 hours, the quality of the songs are very good and you can easily fit enough songs on without listening to the same ones over and over again. The buttons are simple to use with the play button in the middle of the next track, back track, sound up and sound down in a circle around it. There is a power button that is a slide button and also you can decide if the songs go in alphabetical order or random.

Packaging
*********

The size of the packaging is large compared to the I-pod so you really know that the I-pod is small. The packaging is a plastic box with a see through lid so you can admire your I-pod before you can use it. Also included in the packing is a small booklet with the how to use, this is small like the I-pod as it is so easy to use. You also get a dock to refill the battery.

Overall
*******

I think that the I-pod shuffle is very good for going to the gym and an all day I-pod, the battery life is good and you can easily change songs with the sound quality staying good. If you go to the gym or just want a small mp3 player I recommend the shuffle as it covers everything that you will need.

The only downside that I have found is when you really want to listen to a certain track and you can't find it but you just have to have good music all the time on it.

Thank you for reading

Luke
