Advantages: Cheap, Easy and reliable

Disadvantages: gives user poor knowledge of battery life

In my opinion Apple made a wise choice creating the Ipod shuffle.
It is ideal for those not wishing to deal with screens and touch sensitive thumb twirling pads.

It´s robust, easier to use and less space consuming as you can clip it virtually anywhere.
The Ipod shuffle is practical for those who wish to use it whilst jogging, working out or basically doing anything where any other type of Ipod would fall out.
Of course there is also the fact that it´s less expensive, i brought mine for a sum of fifty-five pounds.

The shuffle has a battery life of approximately eight hours and shows a red light when close to expiring. It´s charger is unlike any other Ipod, with a usb port directly in the volume out-put.

The 1GB version has the ability of holding upto 250 music tracks, providing each track is of 3-4 minutes long.

However the Ipod shuffle is incompatible with external Ipod speakers and obviously no games are provided.

Summary: An easier, cheaper apple creation
