Advantages: Small and stylish

Disadvantages: Replaced three times, uses iTunes, bad earphones

I got mine for Christmas in 2006 and since then I have had it replaced three times.

It's very easy to find what song you want to listen to, you can create your own playlist via iTunes and then enter shuffle mode if it's taking too long to find the song. If you know the alphabet then you will find the track in less than a minute!

I thought the sound quality was good but then I heard a few songs via my Sony Ericsson W610i and found that the iPod sound quality was very very bad. The earphones are very bad, they break very quickly which is annoying. You can hear the song better if you aren't wearing the earphones! If they break, then don't bother getting the replacement ones from Apple - you'll be wasting £20. Get a cheap pair!

The fact that it works best with iTunes is frustrating because iTunes is very slow and sluggish, not to mention bloated. I am sure Apple deliberately made iTunes bad on Vista to prove a point.

Summary: Not worth the effort!
