I bought my first Shuffle 3 years ago when it was in the style of a bog standard dongle, I upgraded earlier this year to the new style and am much happier with it. The sound quality hasnt improved that much and the earphones can be rather irritating in that they tend to fall out of my ears unless I push them in quite hard, but for portability it's hard to beat. I

love the fact it has the clip on the back to attach it to your bag or clothes and it is much smaller and compact which takes up less room in my bag.

For someone like me who simply wants to listen to their few fave tunes during their daily commute or the occasional train trip the size and price are perfect. I bought mine for £32 for the 250MB version which has just enough memory for the hundred or so songs that really like to keep with me. If you're after a bargain way to keep your music with you on the move, you cant do much worse that the Shuffle
