Advantages: Size, weight

Disadvantages: No screen, can be easily lost

I am a runner and so when looking for a new MP3 player, I didn't want to buy anything that would bang around in my pockets or be an unncessary weight on my arm. Thank you Apple for creating this small joy. With it's clip, it can be easily attached to a sleeve, waistband...wherever is most convenient for you.

It has to be said that this is almost ridiculously small. It doesn't look like it would have a decent sound or be durable but mine has been dropped on numerous occasions and still survives. I have lost mine in my room and in my bag as well on a few occasions which makes me wonder why I bought something so small.

The music quality with this Ipod is surprisingly good considering it's size. The headphones do make songs a little tinny sounding but if you change this, you will hear a vast improvement in quality.

If you are not used to Itunes then this Ipod will be a wakeup call for you. As with every Ipod out there, you attach it to the docking bay, it syncs all your music and then you add music to your play list. 250 songs is the apparent max limit but occasionally I have had more and I have had less as well. Just check your song size rather than depending on the number alone.

One problem I have had with mine is that it sometimes just starts to skip in the middle of tracks (the scratched CD effect) for no reason. This isn't a regular occurance though and is easily solved by skipping the track.

For everyday use, I would probably push people into getting an ordinary type Ipod (or any MP3 player). I miss having a screen and knowing which track is coming up next, and this was one thing I overlooked when I purchased my green one. However, for running and dance this is an absolute delight and wouldn't want to change it.

Summary: Perfect for athletes, not so good for everyday life.
