I pod shuffle (Apple iPod shuffle (2G) 1 GB)
Member Name: Jillybops
Advantages: Cheap enough if you lose it! Disadvantages: Can't chose the tracks to play I bought a 1G shuffle because I run a lot and was sick of lugging my Ipod video around on an armband. It's perfect for running with, just clip it on and go! Some people might be bothered that you can't choose what track you want, but if you want to just listen to the tracks that you've selected your self, then it really isn't a downer. For £30 it is fantastic value, so much so that I bought one for my 11 year daughter - it's easy for her to use, she selects her own songs and what's more, if (like normal 11 year olds) she loses it somewhere, it's no great shakes at losing something that costs £30 rather than hundreds of pounds. It's also pretty sturdy, I have dropped mine plenty, stood on it, etc., and it still keeps on going. The different colours also mean we don't get ours mixed up. The battery life is great, 12 hours or so, I use mine when commuting too, it's subtle enough to hide under clothing and easy to use the controls too. Everyone should have one! Summary: Great buy for teenagers/young kids and for people on the move
