I bought the new ipod shuffle because I accidentally broke my Ipod Nano. I really didn't want to spend another £110 on a new one, so I opted for the purple 1GB Ipod Shuffle for £32 from Apple store UK. When I received my order I was very impressed. ** Why buy this ipod shuffle ** You might ask what is so good about this ... Read the complete review

The title here is a bit confusing. It means this is the second generation Ipod shuffle and it has 1GB of memory! The Ipod shuffle is great. It is the MP3 player for the active person who already has loads to carry. As with all Ipods the set-up is easy. all you need to do is attatch it to a USB input on your computer. You do this via a ... Read the complete review

I bought my first Shuffle 3 years ago when it was in the style of a bog standard dongle, I upgraded earlier this year to the new style and am much happier with it. The sound quality hasnt improved that much and the earphones can be rather irritating in that they tend to fall out of my ears unless I push them in quite hard, but for portability it's ... What a fantastic item that is so easy to use. I bought this for my dad for Fathers Day as his old MP3 was looking old dated and was a little complicated to use. This looked so simple for him as dealing with technology wasn't his strong point. Everyone was talking about iPod's so I thought why not give it a go. The item is small meaning ... i bought this in order to be able to listen to my coursework on it. After getting lost at first on how you put items on it and get very stressed, i finally worked it out. i particular like this one due to its size as its so small but can hold alot on it. its great if u don't want a bulky mp3 player to carry around. Now i've worked out how to put ... Read the complete review

Once upon a time, when mp3 players were in their advent, I swore blind I would never buy an iPod because they were so expensive, quite often faulty and you got less spec for your hard-earned than with competing, albeit slightly less cool brands. Okay, so I relented, and about a year ago I bought myself a lovely new 80GB Classic, which ... Read the complete review

The Ipod shuffle is the MP3 players all us muso technophobes had been waiting for. It's small, unostentatious, holds about 240 songs (depending on compression rate and information included etc). The Ipod suffle is very basic - it doesn't tell you what the songs are, it doesn't show you any flashy pictures, it just does what it's meant to do - play ... Read the complete review

After years of neglecting music I thought I'd finally get up to date. Since I'm not really a big music fan I thought one of these ipods would be ideal. The thought of wanting any more than 240 songs on my ipod is just silly, to me. So I bought one from the Apple website. Buying it direct from Apple enabled me to get it engraved on the back. I had ... Read the complete review

Apple's Ipod Shuffle is probably the smallest and lightest portable music player on the market. Being so small, it has many advantages, but also a few disadvantages too. At just 41 x 27 x 11 mm in size, and weighing in at a mere 15 grams, the 2nd Generation Ipod Shuffle can literally fit into any pocket imaginable, and being almost as light as a ... The first reason for purchasing such a thing as this, is the smallness of it. Yes, it's a clip and it's tiny, absolutely so. You won't even feel it go missing. I bought the lime-green version for £45, and using it everyday, I got fond of it. It does not have a screen, like most £50 MP3 do, and it is of the simplest designs (but that's ... I received one of these iPod shuffles free with an upgrade I recieved on my phone contract with o2 almost 18 months ago (despite trying to negotiate a deal - unsuccessfully - which didn't include the iPod but instead included a discount on my contract as I despise the things). As I'm sure you can tell from that, I wasn't overly excited to receive ... Read the complete review

The 'iPod' Shuffle is Apple's screen-less mp3 player. As such, it is the cheapest iPod variety available with the 1gb version costing around £30. It's also marketed as being the 'smallest mp3 player in the world' - but i'm not sure if this claim is true or not. This product is probably marketed at sports-people - joggers will especially ... After owning an ipod photo and the first nano i saw one of these and was instantly interested. I was'nt to keen on the first shuffle and did'nt think of to many use's for it as A) it had no screen and B) the small storage capacity. However, when i went out skateboarding or out on my downhill mouintain bike i had the fear of slamming and my ipod ... Read the complete review

The tiniest of iPods found its way onto my desk, or should I say "found its way clipped onto my pocket" at the beginning of this year. I already owned two other iPods, a 5th generation Video which I used mainly in the car and an older iPod Nano that did not get much use. I wanted the iPod shuffle because when I was at work, I needed a ... Read the complete review

Smaller than a matchbox this mp3 player is by far one of the handiest and easiest to use on the market at the moment. For me, the iPod shuffle is the best of all the gadgets in the iPod range, and this is because of its size. When I first got the shuffle I was worried that it wouldn't be able to store enough of my songs on - it can only fit around 240 tracks on. However, I soon realized that this was more than enough space. It is about the size of a large brooch ... Read the complete review

This is my first and only iPod, and I guess I still feel that despite the name I don't really own an iPod - that name is really for the bigger brothers only isn't it?! I have been extremely happy with the shuffle though. Sound quality is great, if a little quiet, with the bundled headphones. The 1GB is of course a little limiting, but ... Read the complete review

These make fantastic presents particularly if bought from the apple store as you can have a message engraved on the back for free. The ipod clips easily to your clothes and you barely know that you're wearing it (remember to take it off before putting it in the washing machine!).
