The ipod shuffle is a smaller more compact version of classic ipod. The popular iPod shuffle is just half a cubic inch in volume, weighs half an ounce, features an aluminum design with a built-in clip.

THe 2gb version should give you enough room for around 500 songs, maybe more depending on the size of the files. The shuffle is quite easy to use with 5 main buttons. These are skip forward, skip back, volume up, volume down and play/pause. It also has an on/off switch and a shuffle on/off. When the shuffle switch is turned on the ipod will randomly choose which songs are played. When it is off the songs will just continually play through your playlist.

The shuffle would be best use for people who like to listen to music when they train (in the gym, running ect) as it has a clip on the back which holds it frmly in playce onto any piece of clothing. It is also extremely light.

The only real disadvantages of the ipod shuffle are the capacity(only 2gb) and the fact that it has no screen or any type of display what so ever. All in all though a good mp3 player probably one of the best.
