Advantages: Compact, neat, works, good quality
Disadvantages: maybe tooo Small, Have to get Itunes
Got a 2Gb ipod Shuffle for my birthday on 20th feb this year, the Ipod has worked faultlessly over this time and been a real blessing to me when i stuck doing otherwise normally boring things.
The 2 GB model is supposed to be able to hold about 500 songs or so and I havent filled it up yet so cannot confirm whether this is true or not. Music quality comes through pretty good on the standard headphones with nice bass too. fairly easy to work and obviously being called 'the shuffle' you can have the option to shuffle your tracks as well.
Annoying thing I find about it sometimes is when im walking and the headphones get pulled out of my ears from when the cord gets pulled from my leg walking - its a bit irritating.
Also another niggle is that they didn't put the normal port on it that would fit onto an Ipod Docking station, meaning you'd still have to buy a proper Ipod for that.
One other thing to note is that you have to download Itunes to work this and to use Itunes you have to register your card details and I couldn;t find a way to get out of that which was another slightly annoying thing.
But its a nice little gem none the less and enables me to listen to music on the go, just be careful of losing this thing, its quite small
Summary: Good little gizmo

- 12/05/09 I think its down to personal preference really, Ive never had an Ipod with a screen so i don't really miss it at all. |
