Advantages: Compact, great design, easy to use and great value

I don't think I would ever have owned an ipod shuffle if I hadn't won one at a raffle. I used to own an mp3 which held 4gb of songs, however I kept having problems with it's battery and with freezing. I did not think that an ipod shuffle would be able to hold enough music for me but I have been pleasantly surprised. It hold about 200 songs, which I now think to be plenty since I often get bored of listening to the same songs but this is enough to last a long time before I feel the need to change the music on my mp3 player. Moving music off and onto the ipod shuffle is easy to do, as is downloading new songs from iTunes. Furthermore, the simplicity of the fashionable design seems to mean it doesn't break so easily. I haven't experienced any problems with freezing unlike other models and I can even drop it quite regularly without it having any affect (which I seem to do as a habit). It's perfect for joggers as it clips onto your clothing, and you can easily skip songs without too much fiddling. I think this is also perfect for people who only use their mp3 for long journeys or the gym as it is compact and the battery seems to hold out for long periods of time. Only hardcore music fans who listen to music everyday and want to carry thousands of songs around with them should look elsewhere, otherwise, this could be just the product for you. Also brilliant if you don't want to spend too much on an mp3 player but want something that won't break!
