This ipod shuffle is innovative, compact and a little gem. I bought mine mainly for the gym, as you can clip it to your t-shirt or jacket and pound along on the treadmill for as long as you like without worrying about whether or not it will come out of it's case and break when it's dropped on the floor.

There is just enough room for enough songs to keep it interesting, and you can either run the songs in playlist order or do as the title suggests and let it shuffle. The controls are simple - next song, previous song, pause, play and volume up or down and there's a hold button to make sure it doesn't accidentally start playing and run down the battery. Speaking of which, it's charged up by the usb port on your computer and the supplied dock but you can buy a wall charger if you prefer.

In short, a great little mp3 player which is ideal for the gym, or not as the case may be!
