I have had my ipod shuffle for almost 18 months now. The ipod shuffle comes in variety of colours and 1 and 2 GB capacity. It is light, portable and has a clip to attach it to clothes. It is ideal to take to use when out jogging or in the gym. As it is so light, it does not drag on the clothes when exercising and the apple earphones are far superior to the ones supplied with the usual MP3 players. They do not fall out of your ear as soon as you start jogging.

The battery lasts ages, and the device can easily be recharged using the USB connection attached to the docking station. The shuffle button means that the songs come in a random order. If you don't like this, you could turn that switch off.

2 GB holds almost 500 songs. The lack of display screen means you cannot find the song you want as quickly. The costs have come down remarkably and you can get one for as little as £25 for 2GB.

If you have never had an ipod before, you will need to download and install the itunes sofware before you can use this. This can be done at www.apple.com/itunes/download.
