Advantages: small, light, lots oof colours, inexpensive, built in clip

Disadvantages: Supplied headphones not great, need to charge via computer

The iPod Shuffle (2nd gen) is a tiny lightweight mp3 player. It has no screen as it is so small. It has just a few essential buttons (play, pause etc.) It also includes a clip on the back so that you can attach it to
your clothes. It is aimed at active people, for example, people at the gym who don't need a huge iPod taped to their arm. It comes in several colours including ProductRED, a red ipod which some of the money goes to charity ( it costs the same amount of money as the others)

Because it is so small, the shuffle lacks a screen, instead it shows the battery level via an LED light, green for high battery, yellow for medium, red for low). Lots of people have also asked me, how i can tell which song it's on etc. You get used to it after a while. All the organising song order and playlists is done on itunes on your computer.

A few disadvantages are the USB dock as with all iPods, you have to charge the ipod via the dock which can only be plugged into the computer, therefore you must have a computer with you to charge your ipod. Also the headphones are not of the best quality but you can get around this by using another pair. Also i've noticed the they are shorter than other ipod headphones.
