I realized that it has been late to review about the Ipod Shuffle. There are many reviews about Ipod Shuffle but I do not think that everyone has already owned this cool MP3 player. So, I decided to tell what I think after almost one year I use this stuff.

Many friends of mine asked me why I bought Apple Ipod Shuffle. They said it was not nice and it has no monitor at all. Well, everyone has different point of view. All I can say to answer them is I do not use my eyes to listen to music.

If you ask me how do I know the title of the songs if I do not have the monitor. At first, I was kind of confused too. But when a friend of mine who is also a gadget maniac told me that there is sort of program named Voice Over.

What is Voice Over?
Voice Over is sort of program which enable us to pick the songs we want. Although we do not have monitor, we still can pick the song we want. When we connect the itunes, we can also install an add-on which is named Voice Over.

How do we use the Voice Over?
Upon the Ipod Shuffle, it has Voice Over button (the very small button). This is how it works:
Press the button once, it will mention the title and the singer of the song. Cool, right?
Press the button twice, it will mention the percentage of the battery.
Press and hold a bit longer, it will mention the list of songs one by one and after the song we want is mentioned we have to press the play button fast.

It will be very difficult if we do not install the Voice Over. Can you imagine if you have to press many times only to find the songs you want but the song is on the middle of the list. My friend said not many Apple Ipod shuffle's owners know this. There are many users of the Ipod Shuffle still press more than ten times to find the songs they want. So, I think he is very kind to share me this.

Is there a built-in speaker in Ipod Shuffle?
Of course, there is no built-in speaker. We use the earphone to listen the Voice Over.
If you want to listen to the songs randomly, you just have to move the top right button.
Move it to the right to turn it off, to the middle to play the songs consecutively, and to the left to play the songs randomly. Well, it's only that easy.

When I bought the Ipod Shuffle, the little box contained the USB cable, the earphone, the manual guide book, and sticker.

I have already tried to test the durability of the battery and the result is it can be played for 15 hours long. It is really a long life battery for a tiny cool MP3 player. Compare with the other MP3 players which are commonly have shorter life battery, Ipod Shuffle is the best.

About the price, I think price really can describe quality. If I compare the Ipod Shuffle with the other MP3 players, Ipod Shuffle is more expensive. But it is worthy of price. Ipod Shuffle is expensive (according to the price comparison), however, it is the best in producing high quality sound. It is pretty beautiful, pure, and real.

Am I too over about the quality?
Loud of Laugh. This is serious. It feels like the real artist is singing in the front of us. Really. I've got no doubt about the sound quality of the Ipod Shuffle.

What are the disadvantages of the Ipod Shuffle?
Let me list the bad side of the Ipod Shuffle. But don't worry. It will not stop your desire to buy this cool MP3 player.
1. To download the Voice Over add on, it needs 20 Mega Bytes of the memory.
2. Without the itunes, Ipod Shuffle can not be used. It is also applied when we want to download the Voice Over add on.
3. We can not use the Ipod at the same time when we charge the battery. What a bad. When I was not in the mood of watching TV, I can not use the Ipod when it was being charged.
4. This one, I have mentioned before. It is about the price. Ipod Shuffle is almost two times more expensive than any other MP3 player like this.
5. Limited memory. If we talk about the capacity, Ipod Shuffle does not have a satisfying capacity of memory.

So why did I still buy the Ipod Shuffle?
Ok. Beside the advantages that were mentioned above, I like this product because it is small, light, and cool. I can clamp my Ipod on my shirt and go to work. Ipod Shuffle is just a simple thing with a huge function. The limitation of the memory never bothers me. I can still change the songs whenever I want. Above all, the top advantage of Ipod Shuffle is the sound quality. Although it is small (compare the size with the older type of Ipod), its sound quality is same.
