Advantages: Small, compact, great looks, great sound quality! Shuffle!

Disadvantages: None.

I have owned so many different iPods in my life! I always used to buy new ones and now they don't tend to get much use as I have an iPhone 4. This device actually gets the most use and I will explain why I love it so much and why it's worth getting one even if you have other mp3 players or smartphones. I will now go into more detail on the product and explain why it's my favourite little gadget.

Price:

I picked mine up for £30 From curry's. I think they are a great price compared to other iPods on the market. They are the cheapes option from apple when it comes to an mp3 player. Ok they don't have the options like the others do, but this doesn't matter as its aiming at a different market. These used to be far more expensive when they first came out. You can also get used ones on eBay for £20. I have purchased one for my brother for his birthday.

Who is this for:

This is aimed at many people, it's small and lightweight. I use this as my exercise mp3 player, it fits lovely in your pocket. If you go on runs or jogs its great as it doesnt get in the way. It's also useful for when your commuting. It's good for children and adults, it's not hard to get used to using as it has limited features. As you can only play random songs from your playlist, it adds a more interesting twist on listening to music as you can't choose the order. It's great when out running as you look forward to the next song, it's more unpredictable! It takes a bit of getting used to when you first get it.

The device:

It is very easy to set up and connects straight to your iTunes via the USB cable provided. It has 2 gigs which is just about right as you can only do shuffle playlists. I only evey use half the space on it as I don't like having my playlists too long. I have a blue one and it looks great, it's got a large play button on the front with the volume and next track buttons, it looks smart and is only a few centimetres in size. There is an on button on the top and it also has the audio socket for your headphones. It produces a lovely sound that is balanced through the headphones. It's so light that you can hardly feel it in your pocket ( which has worried me a few times when I couldn't feel it was there) you can also buy protective equipment for it, but I haven't got any.

Overall:

This is a great item for anyone who wants a good quality mp3 player, it's so easy to use as it is set up using iTunes. It takes a short amount of time. These are stylish and have the great apple appeal! Most iPods are over priced. But I would say that this has a fair price :) this is now the 4 generation of shuffles and I think this is by far the best looking model so far, it took me a long time to buy one of these as I never saw the point in them, now I regret not getting one sooner! Really happy with my shuffle :)

This gets a 5 star rating from me! Quality item.

Thanks for reading my review.
