I bought this iPod shuffle as a gift for my little brother and have used it myself for car journeys and the gym. The best features are the "randomised" selection when you press play - you get a big mix of all your music in a randomised order.
The 2GB design accomodates approximately 500 songs, dependent on the music file sizes, a large enough music library that you will never get bored of the same tunes! Update your library easily via iTunes when you want to refresh your music.
The clip is a great feature, enabling you to listen to music in the gym by clipping the device to your top. The tiny design means that it's not heavy to run with either compared to the more bulky other iPod and mp3 players!
Comes in a variety of colours so there's a design for everyone! Relatively inexpensive compared to some other iPod models, makes a lovely present for someone who loves music.

The only disadvantage is that some people may prefer to select their music from a library rather than get a randomised song selection.
