Advantages: Small, easy to use, great for kids and those who are not too technical

Disadvantages: No screen

This was bought as a present for my mum for xmas. We bought it for her because it was easy to use and straightforward. All she wanted was something that she could use to listen to music and that's it. Therefore I think the shuffle is good for those who want a straightforward MP3 player. Also its good for kids who want an ipod but should not get one that cost over £100.

It would have been nice if the shuffle had a screen but that is not a major disadvantage. The price is reasonable for what you get and it is easy to use. A perfect present for a whole range of people.
