Apple has done it once again (Apple iPod touch 16 GB)

Advantages: Brilliant interface, easy to use and will provide hours of amusement

Disadvantages: Battery life a touch short and it is prone to scratches

I've had my ipod touch for a month or so now and haven't really got a bad word to say against it, it is unbelieveably user friendly so much so that I don't think you could find anyone in the world who couldn't use one.

The app store function is brilliant there are literally 1000s of apps for the ipod which turn it into a mini entertainment factory-and the best bit is that loads of these are free, can't ask for more than that.

The internet is very easy to use and provides full internet access for catching up with the news or just having a browse, it also has facebook/myspace apps which make social networking easy on the go for people who can't go 15 minutes without checking their accounts.

The music interface is very good and very easy to use and to navigate between songs and video is easy to upload on to it and to watch-however this does seem to drain the battery very quickly which is a bit annoying.

The only other problem is the shiny back it has-the problem is it gets finger smudges on it constantly and mine was scratched by day 2 of ownership.

Summary: In my view the best mp3 player on the market
