The Ipod touch was a scintillating break through in mp3 technology. Since the introduction of the second generation touch, manufacturers world wide have attempted to copy the format because of is breath taking popularity. Personally i was a bit wary over the touch, but i decided to take a gamble on it and it certainly paid off. At £230 it certainly is at the more pricey end of the market however it is well worth it, the touch offers a large hardrive for music, photo and video storage, which other models do not offer. It also displays all features in an easy to read and easily accessible way, inviting the user in. The fact that you can obtain additional applications from the Itunes store means that your Ipod is forever accessible to change and personalization. However personally i think the best and most innovative feature was the addition of internet access. I know it is not 3g and you need access to wifi, but just being able to get onto the internet on your mp3 player is genious and so, so useful. All in all the Ipod touch 16gb is defiantly worth purchasing, it may not contain as much memory as the 32gb or be as cheap as the 8gb but i think 16gb is plenty of enough room without having to break the bank to get it.
