The ipod touch is excellent. The battery lasts longer than any other ipod I have had in the past, and I do so much more with it: check emails, use the mapetc. The touch screen is excellent and very easy to use, and the option to shuffle a playlist is something I really like that I havn't been able to do with any other ipod.

On the downside, because of the touchscreen, it's difficult to change tracks with the ipod in your pocket. I used to do this all the time on the train/bus so that I didn't have to get my ipod out and show it off to potetial muggers, but now I have no choice but to get it out when I want to change a track. The older models with the raised wheel meant you could change track discreetly and quickly. This is something I would probably change about the ipod touch.
