The best iPod I've ever owned. I was first drawn to the iPod touch by the touch screen. It both looks amazing and seemed like a futuristic device from a Sci Fi move. It is more hand sized computer thank MP3 player.

As a MP3 player it cannot be faulted. When loaded with cover art the screen fills with the album cover of the song playing. You can also use cover flow by turning the iPod on its side. This allows you to flick through the album covers. Double click and you can play the songs.

When connected to the internet you can also download songs, albums and podcasts straight to the iPod. Then next time you plug in to your computer the songs a transferred into your iTunes library.

The App store lets you download programs for just about anything you can imagine. There is a huge selection of free apps as well as paid for content. I often enjoy playing chess while listening to music on the bus to work.

The built in battery is great. I use my iPod for a couple of hours a day and can go 3-4 days without needing to recharge the battery. Though I find turning off the wifi when not using it helps a lot.
