I have had my Apple iPod Touch 16gb for a few months now and to tell you the truth, I can't put it down. The touch screen control makes this iPod stand out from the rest, the touch screen is very accurate and scrolling feels smooth, simple pinches and flicks are used to navigate through the iPods menus. The screen produces some very clear pictures, some videos from the iTunes store look very close to High Definition. The 3.5 screen brightness output can be changed and the view can be switched from portrait to landscape with a simple movement, but from my experience I have found when viewing video the iPod view doesn't want to change.

As a music player the iPod isn't the best, when searching through music files the touch screen can get tedious and soon you really do miss the classic scroll wheel system. The iPod makes it very easy to access web pages and their own App and iTunes store, and App store is filled with a wide variety of apps to suit every user, the content on there can keeps you amused for days. If I could change anything on the iPod touch it would be the battery life, when watching a video it struggles to last for an 1 hour, I have had to buy an external charger for my ipod and i suggest you do the same. But dont let this put you off, this compact machine is one of the greatest gadgets I have ever owned.
