I've had my iTouch for about a year now, I got the it for my birthday. I was just looking for an upgrade on my iPod classic. This is perfect for someone who is on the go, likes to check their mail, but doesnt nesscessarily need an iPhone or want a contract and the commitment it brings. You can still access the app store and the apple store from the iTouch, I would reccomend looking free apps available rather than paying for them.
The iTunes software is really easy to use, it has a nice simple interface with drop bar down the edge.
One of my favourite things about the itouch is ithat you can also store photos on it, I also like the map feature, which has saved me in many situations!
My only bother is I wish I could take some of the app's off it. I dont relly need the sticj and finiancial side fo things.
Other than that I would throughly recommend the iTouch for apple enthusiasts and apple newbies alike.

Summary: This is good for seasoned apple users and those who dont have a clue!
