Advantages: Amazing features, great sound

Disadvantages: Little space

This 2nd generation 8gb ipod touch is much improved on the 1st generation. The main advantage is that it now has a built in speaker so you don't always necessarily have to always listen to your music through those annoying headphones. Obviously you still have all the benefits of the original ipod touch with the touch screen and many different applications ranging from games to social networking sites such as facebook. The battery life is much improved and you can now listen to music for up to 36 hours or watch videos for 6 hours. The volume controls are now even more easily accessible on the side of the ipod touch which now fits even better into the palm of your hand with its new shape and design. The main negative to this ipod is the lack of space on an 8gb ipod although at first it does sounds like a lot when you have uploaded your older tunes and want the new number one you soon run out of space, so if your in any doubt of having to many songs for this incredible ipod I would recommend purchasing the 16gb ipod touch instead.
Overall a great ipod, all the thrills and novelty's you need plus great sound and ultimately a great gadget.

Summary: Perfect ipod but if you are a music fan purchase an ipod with greater capacity.
