In the past I have always had one problem that has prevented me from purchasing an Ipod touch. This problem was the meager capacity size, there just was not enough room to store all my songs. But now with the introduction of a 32gb version this problem seems to have been resolved.

The ipod is relatively unchanged from previous versions. It still retains the same looks and software, but is a tad thicker. This really will not bother you though as it hardly makes a difference.

The software on the ipod is fantastic, browsing is slick and easy, and the music player has never been better. The wifi works well too, and connects to my home network flawlessly.

The ipod still looks flawless. I live the shiny black front, although it does tend to attract a bit too many smudges. I love the back mirrored casing to, it has become something of a trademark among ipods featuring the distinctive apple logo on the back.

It still comes bundled with standard apple headphones, I do think though that these could now do with an update, as they are becoming out of date and used.

The music player is brilliant. I especially enjoy viewing my music collection in coverflow, which looks fantastic. I now have enough room for my entire music collection as well, which is certainly an advantage, this ipod can store around 8,000 songs, which is huge espicially when you consider the slender form factor. It is quick and easy too to scroll through music, requiring just a slick flick of the thumb.

Movie viewing is slick and crisp. The contrast is great with some nice, bright colours. It is all very sharp on the large 3.5 inch screen and is just about big enough to watch a full movie, I don't think any other ipod is.

The web browser, as many people know, is fantastic. It is quick and easy to establish a wifi connection. The navigation is speedy, and zooming in just requires a double tap. I really like the option to have more than one page open at a time, not many mobile web browsers can do this, it is one of the best out there in this aspect.

All in all this really is Apple's best ever ipod. It combines great music playing and movie playing with slick and speedy internet browsing. It also looks fantastic and weighs as much as a bar of chocolate. I think though that there may be a new one out soon as a new iphone is imminent, and with it possibly a new touch, so maybe you want to hold out, your choice.
