I recieved my 32gb ipod touch 2rd generation for my birthday and it has proven to be an invaluable addition to my life.

Having previously owned an ipod nano, all of my music was already in itunes. But this new ipod allowed me to put all of my appointments into it and by setting the notification alert - it already saved me from being late for a quite important meeting.

My mail is set to go to my iPod and I have received several already. My contacts are synced with my email contacts and I've added more - which in turn synced with the email account. Too easy. An example of how effortless this machine is to use. With the weather icon, I can keep track of the weather in all the cities that my family and friends live in.

Everything that can be thought of is available out there as an app for this thing. Games, Navigation, Travel etc. I am currently addicted to oMaps, an offline maps app. It makes travelling easier. No it's not a phone and it does not take photos - but I loaded it with pictures which is a good addition.

I would recommend this to everyone - it is really effortless to use - not to mention a really cool gadget. The 32gb are neccessary because you just won't be able to stop downloading stuff onto it.
