I was given an this I Pod as a birthday present. I am not very technically minded and was worried I wouldn't be able to use it! However it is very straightforward, you just plug in and it automatically installs I tunes. After the initial installation everytime you plug the ipod into the computer it automatically 'syncs' up the music library from your computer with the ipod and it also charges automatically. It is a very sleek looking piece of kit. It is very slim. The main reason I like the ipod touch is that it is easy to navigate and find the music. I mainly use mine for the gym and the daily commute. I have also installed some games on it. If you have a wifi connection in your home you can log onto itunes and download music and games that way. As well as browse the internet. I find this a useful function as most places now offer wifi so I can check my email and facebook on the go. One complaint I have about the ipod touch is the battery life. Which reduces very quickly if you are constantly using it, I think the screen eats the battery. It is also better to charge it off the mains rather than the computer as it takes forever to charge from a PC. I also find the ipod touch bulky for the gym compared to the nano or the shuffle. I bought an arm strap so I could run on the treadmill but I find it too bulky to do this.
