Before purchasing the 4th Gen Ipod Touch, I had access to the 1st and 2nd gen iPod Touches.

Of course the same features from 1st and 2nd gens are present in the 4th gen. But the 4th gen iPod Touch is so much better than I imagined.

The notable feature for myself is retina screen. Compared to previous generations the screen is so much clearer and brighter. If your like me and upgrading you may want to keep your old ipod touch, but I will tell you now in my experience I did not use my old ipod Touch. The screen quality in the 4th gen ipod touch is so good that looking at older ipod touch screens makes you question how you used to use those screens.
Its truly impressive.

Airplay is a great feature if you have an apple tv, its great being able to transfer a video or game or music could be transfered to your apple tv. You can even do other things on your ipod touch whilst a video is airplaying which is a nice feature.

iOS5 works really well on the ipod touch, with features likes imessage, facetime and notification center being introduced, you'll never want to put the device down.
Something interesting to note is with facetime and skype its possible to do video calls using the built in cameras which is a cool feature, and of course with skype you can do skype calls, so if you have the wireless available on the go, its not that far off from the iphone!

There are loads of features I could go through but the iPod Touch 4th Gen is amazing. Its very fast, the multitasking is great (although remember to close apps in the background as they may pile up), camera is very good, definatly worth the money.

I'd recommend getting the 32 or 64 gb as with the built in camera and vast amount of apps an 8gb model fills up very very quickly.

Finally the White iPod Touch is beautiful! makes the ipod look much newer and sleeker. Had many people ask about the device saying how good it looks.
