I had one of the original Ipod touches, it was great and I loved it. I loved the camera on the back, I loved the wifi access.....and then whilst I was on holiday somebody stole it.

I managed to claim back through insurance so I could get a new one but they no longer made my model, I therefore bought the newest one available, the 4G Ipod Touch and after a little while of getting used to the differences I came to love this little personal helper!

For starters, there's a front camera on the Ipod now, which is great quality and fantastic for taking photos with or even using as a mirror (there is an app for that), the apps you can get for the camera are great so you can take lots of funny pictures and ones against different backdrops, these apps can provide hours of fun.

The touch screen is much more sensitive than the original version, which is a good thing, the product itself is really thin and really light, a massive improvement from the already small and light-weight previous version.

The colours and updates itself are great. I use my ipod for virtually everything now, from diary-keeping to learning Spanish, from alarm clock to MP3 player, it is a very handy gadget.

All of my previous Ipods have all been 8GB and thats all I've ever needed, however, because of the unlimited choice of apps available and the extensive use I get out of my ipod I find that I do need a larger size, this is something to consider when buying.
