Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Scratches easily
Previously I have always avoided the apple i-pods when it comes to listening to down loaded music as I thought there were cheaper options that did the job just as well however a few weeks back my boyfriend bought me an ipod touch which has 8gb of memory and I have been rather enamoured with it ever since.
It has a nice large screen so you can watch videos on it and it is very easy to operate when listening to music. I hae been impressed with the sound quality and have kept with the ear phones provided and have seen no need to change these. It can hold up to 1750 songs apparently which is plenty for my needs as it is easy to move stuff and ad moresongs when I get bored with my playlist and battery life is pretty good and easily handles a couple of days listening before needing a charge. The charge takes about four hours in total.
I was advised by friends to buy a case for it as it does scratch very easily and this is excellent advice otherwise it will start to look tatty quite quickly. I have found it easy to use and it is pretty much intuitive although it does come with a quick start instructons and a fulll operating manual can be downloaded from the itunes store.
Thereare loads of applications on the ipod and the games are good fun to play and while you need to be in a free wifi hotspot area to get access to the internet once in it works well.
I'm slowly becomming an apple convert and this is a great fun product to own.
