First off, let's discuss the basics - despite appearances, this is the same as any other 30gb ipod - mine currently contains 4453 songs and a handful of music videos, and that's about 27gb, so conservative estimates woud suggest this ipod can hold around 5000 songs - that's a lot of music! In case you don't know, you have to have a PC to use an Ipod, and you have to download a program called 'itunes'. Itunes is like a virtual hi-fi, where you put all of your music (either load your CDs into it or actually buy music in their online store). On top of that, you can download free podcasts.
