Advantages: Lightweight, Easy to Use, Great Sound Quality

Disadvantages: Doesn't come with a case, FM Transmitters not available yet, Hard to put video onto it.

I was surprised when my Ipod arrived that it was in such a tiny box for the amount of money it is worth, although to be fair it is a tiny product!

Once I finally worked out how to turn it on and off (honestly it's not as easy as it would seem!) it worked perfectly. I installed all of the software on my PC, plugged it in to charge, and away I went.

The only downside with the product itself is that it doesnt come with a mains adapter to charge it up with - it only has the USB charger. This is fine if you don't travel a lot with it, however I've found that it is a bit of a pain if you're going on a long journey without a PC nearby to charge it! You can however buy the adapters separately, but they are quite expensive.

I also found that the extras you can buy, like the FM transmitter to put in your car, are only currently available for the earlier models. This means that there might be a bit of a wait if you want to use it in your car.

The protective case it comes with is ok, although not great, and is a pain to use when you want to change tracks - you have to squeeze it out which takes forever. I'd recommend getting a silicone case for it to prevent scratching - but yet again, these are expensive, and hard to find for this model at the moment.

The video quality is superb, although it took me a while to figure out how to convert my video files on my PC to the format supported by the MP3 player. If you look on the net there's a great free program you can use to convert the files really easily and quickly which I'd recommend. The Apple support on this feature of the Ipod isnt great. I would say that the video files are definitley watchable, and everyone who i've shown has been impressed.

Summary: Really great, although lacking in some extras which you might have expected!
