The 30gb ipod looks stunning. It is thinner then the other ipods.It has a shiny surface making it easy to clean. The back of the ipod gets scratched too easily so you need a good case for it.When you want to put videos on it,you need to have it in a certain software called mp4.The software converters are over priced and the cheap ones are too complicated. Putting music on the ipod is easy if you already have itunes.If you dont you either have to start your music library from scratch or you have to convert your music software which is complicated. The ipod also is very delicate so you should handle it propely, it is not a mp3 player for a person who wants to listen and play sports at the same time with it.
