Advantages: big memory, you can get them engraved, better batery life, great interface.

Disadvantages: can be abit slow when playing videos,

The Ipod video 30gb is the best ipod i have owned. It like most descent ipods has a huge memory and plays videos which we all love to see, and there very easy to put on with only a few clicks required once the video has been converted .A ipod video converter is required to change the video format to the correct one. The old ipods might of had problems with there batterys but rest asure the problem has been fixed and now the battery last a fair bit. The interface is exactly like the one on the ipod nano which is very simple but extremely practical. There was a problem with some of the old 20gb colour ipods where you would click on a song and it would constantly skip to another song by that artist, rest assure the problem has been fixed so you don't get any more of that. All in all the Ipod 30gb colour is a great buy and recommended to anyone.
