Advantages: fantastic live saver fo many
Disadvantages: battery issues
Yes we know Ipods are great but have people forgotten about the charging system???
you can't remove the battery, even though it last for ages... you can't buy another one. so if anything goes wrong you will have to send it back to apple to be fixed.
and the fact that the accessories cost so much, thats a little off putting.
Please don't get me wrong i loved my Ipod ad will buy another, it was my life saver while i worked long distance. i could play games and listen to music, watch mini videos and lots more.
before i got my first Ipod i had a creative Zen (rubbish) which i later sold on to a colleague at the carphone warehouse. Yes they have improved by a giant leap.
I bought a black 5th generation Ipod from regents street. and loved the experience.
did you know that have a little world of their own in there, if you buy one of their laptops they have tutorial classes that run all day at different intervals for the novices.
i am used to the Windows systems from school age, i was not given the choice of using the Apple system and found it quite daunting the user face is obviously different. i am sure if you was to buy one i would not take too long to get used to.
this was one of the things that slightly daunted me s i was told be friends that you need to have an apple mac to use the ipod sucessfully and that you need to use a diferent format for the music you loaded onto the Ipod.
to an extent is true but all the information you need is on the apple website and there is nothing to fear.
Mine was bashed and dropped and performed well on every occasion
My one was stolen from my car so the next one will be a pink one. this is my theme color on everything now...i have have been pink washed!!!!
Summary: Great sound, lots of choice

- 18/08/08 I think charging is connected to the USB port of a PC or laptop. There is no charger. Yeah you are right, it is quite expensive accessories for ipods |
