Advantages: Large screen, great sound quality

Disadvantages: None really, it has locked up on me a few times

I have had the Apple iPod Video (5G) 30GB for about a year and a half now and so far it is still going strong. I previously had a Nano which was 4GB and was always finding myself deleting songs to free up space, but with this version I have no such problems. The 30GB of space is great, I can load everything I want onto it and don't need to worry about space. It comes with a set of earphones which are better than the ones I got with my Nano, a USB cable to charge via the PC/MAC and transfer data to it and also a fabric case. The 2.5 inch screen is great and very clear, if you load videos onto it they display very well indeed, the screen is easierly watchable on the train or plane on a long journey. You can also put your photos onto this iPod and are great to view on the large screen. The sound quality is also very good and the volume can be turned up quite loud. I have only had it freeze up on me a couple of times and this has been easierly fixed by resetting the device.

Summary: An excellent iPod for listening to music and watching videos, great sound quality
