the high points of an old iPod (Apple iPod (5G) 30 GB)
Member Name: anglophile
Advantages: holds a goodly amount, solid, less smudging Disadvantages: no applications, smaller screen
For anyone who can't afford a new iPod, but wants a really nice one, PICK ME PICK ME. As it is not in demand anymore, one can usually get a good deal on it. It also has some advantages on the iPod touch. There is no need to touch the screen on this incarnation of the iPod, therefore it is not constantly smudged with friends and family member's fingerprints and body oil who just want to check out your new apps. Also, you can put a case on this and not have to constantly remove it, therefore, your screen will not be horribly scratched. This is especially good if you're clumsy, as my brother's iPod touch looks like it's been to war. Summary: good technology, but just outdated enough to get a good deal
