I had never owned an Apple product until a few years ago when I decided that I wanted an iPod for Christmas. I looked around the internet and several different stores to look for the best iPod for me and the best price for me. I eventually ordered the 30GB 5G iPod from play.com, and received it a day later.

As soon as I opened the package I was very impressed with the presentation of the actual product as it was made to look very professional. I took the product out of the box to have a look at it and make sure I liked the way it feels to use. I found that the iPod is actually very easy to use and has many different features which are not found on some of the other companies' mp3 players. My iPod had a good selection of games to play, a nice and easy to use calendar, alarm clock, world clock and allowed me to store videos and images to the hard drive of the product.

After several hours of playing around with the iPod, I put some of my favourite music on to have a listen to. I was very impressed with the quality of the sound as it sounded really good.

After looking around on the internet to find out how I can import videos to my iPod, I found a nice little program to help me do so, I decided to transfer some music videos and some episodes of my favourite TV shows to my iPod. This didn't take too long which surprised me. After this had been completed, I gave it a watch and again I was very impressed with the quality, but this time I wasn't just impressed with the sound. The video quality was top-notch and looked like you was watching a dvd.

Everything about the iPod impressed me. I was genuinely a satisfied customer. The only thing that put me off was iTunes. I wasn't a fan of this product and have always prefered different software to listen to music through.

Overall, I would recommend the Apple iPod to anyone, as they are probably the best piece of equipment to be made. I give this a 5/5 due to the size of the hard drive and all of it's quality. I have now had my iPod for a number of years and have never been let down by it. It's very reliable which is good for all music fans.
