Advantages: Easy to use, multi media, loads of memory

I bought one of these for my husband as a Christmas present as it was `the in thing'. I thought it was just another gadget that would be put in the cupboard after a few weeks of novelty but as of yet it is still being used daily.

The Apple Ipod Video 60Gb is more than an mp3 player. This is an excellent item that is aesthetically pleasing in black or white. Music, photographs, text and movies etc. can be transferred easily via a computer. Initial setup is straightforward and clear onscreen instructions guide you through the process. Easy to use itunes personal library is used to update your ipod. The large memory allows the user to store enough to keep you watching and listening for months. Although the screen looks small the picture and sound quality is excellent and clear.

The click wheel allows for easy navigation of the features so that you can find what you are looking for quickly.

In my husbands search to fill his ipod with music and videos, which is not easy, he has found lots of extras to enhance the ipod even more for example games, street guides, utilities to produce presentations etc. You can also personalise the ipod with accessories although these are not essential.

This is a complete media centre that is novice friendly and also excellent for the expert. Regular updates install automatically via the internet via the apple website.

£299.00 from the apple store but shop around and you can find it cheaper

Unfortunately we did have to contact Apple due to a battery fault but there was no quibble and they sent out a new one under the 1 year warranty.

Highly recommended product with lots of potential. Best gadget I have bought with lots of potential.
